A dining room with impact! This is the first room one sees when entering this home, so impact was important. Blue flamestitch wallcovering above a 7 feet high wainscoting blends with leather side chairs and blue velvet captain's chairs. The custom dining table is walnut with a brass base. Anchoring the area is a modern patterned gray area rug and a brass and glass sputnik light fixture crowns the tray ceiling.

A busy family moves to a new home stuck in the 90's in metro Boston and requests a full refresh and renovation. Lots of family friendly materials and finishes are used. Some areas feel more modern, others have more of a transitional flair. Elegance is not impossible in a family home, as this project illustrates. Spaces are designed and used for adults and kids. For example the family room doubles as a kids craft room, but also houses a piano and guitars, a library and a sitting area for parents to hang out with their children. The living room is family friendly with a stain resistant sectional sofa, large TV screen but also houses refined decor, a wet bar, and sophisticated seating. The entry foyer offers bins to throw shoes in, and the dining room has an indoor outdoor rug that can be hosed down as needed! The master bedroom is a romantic, transitional space.

With a generous amount of natural light flooding this open plan kitchen diner and exposed brick creating an indoor outdoor feel, this open-plan dining space works well with the kitchen space, that we installed according to the brief and specification of Architect - Michel Schranz.
We installed a polished concrete worktop with an under mounted sink and recessed drain as well as a sunken gas hob, creating a sleek finish to this contemporary kitchen. Stainless steel cabinetry complements the worktop.
We fitted a bespoke shelf (solid oak) with an overall length of over 5 meters, providing warmth to the space.

This family retreat has been renovated and decorated to reflect the casual elegance known for the Hampton's style. Beach references, all white upholstery and traditional accents create a fresh classic interior.
First Lamp
This Greenlake area home is the result of an extensive collaboration with the owners to recapture the architectural character of the 1920’s and 30’s era craftsman homes built in the neighborhood. Deep overhangs, notched rafter tails, and timber brackets are among the architectural elements that communicate this goal.
Given its modest 2800 sf size, the home sits comfortably on its corner lot and leaves enough room for an ample back patio and yard. An open floor plan on the main level and a centrally located stair maximize space efficiency, something that is key for a construction budget that values intimate detailing and character over size.

We replaced the dated bifold pantry doors with this beautiful walnut stained barn door. Also replaced the bulky dining room table to this sleek mid-century tulip table and added a modern black pendant.
