Ein neues Design für eine charmante Berliner Altbauwohnung: Für dieses Kreuzberger Objekt gestaltete THE INNER HOUSE ein elegantes, farbiges und harmonisches Gesamtkonzept. Wohn- und Schlafzimmer überzeugen nun durch stimmige Farben, welche die Wirkung der vorher ausschließlich weißen Räume komplett verändern. Im Wohnzimmer sind Familienerbstücke harmonisch mit neu erworbenen Möbeln kombiniert, die Gesamtgestaltung lässt den Raum gemütlicher und gleichzeitig größer erscheinen als bisher. Auch das Schlafzimmer erscheint in neuem Licht: Mit warmen Blautönen wurde ein behaglicher Rückzugsort geschaffen. Da das Schlafzimmer zu wenig Platz für ausreichenden Stauraum bietet, wurde ein maßgefertigter Schrank entworfen, der stattdessen die komplette Länge des Flurs nutzt. Ein ausgefeiltes Lichtkonzept trägt zur Stimmung in der gesamten Wohnung bei. We designed the layout of this home around family. The pantry room was transformed into a beautiful, peaceful home office with a cozy corner for the family dog. The living room was redesigned to accommodate the family’s playful pursuits. We designed a stylish outdoor bathroom space to avoid “inside-the-house” messes. The kitchen with a large island and added breakfast table create a cozy space for warm family gatherings. ---Project designed by Courtney Thomas Design in La Cañada. Tuscany goes Modern – SAY WHAT? Well you can't beat the amazing downtown and Pacific views from this fabulous pad which is what sold the pair on this property. But nothing, and I mean nothing, about its design was a reflection of the personal taste or personalities of the owners – until now. How do you take a VERY Tuscan looking home and infuse it with a contemporary, masculine edge to better personify its occupants without a complete rebuild? Here’s how we did it…

Scampolo ist eine ganz besondere Farbe, die nach dem Film mit Romy Schneider benannt ist. Sie spielt die Fremdenführerin Scampolo auf Ischia und sprüht nur vor Natürlichkeit und Charme. Diese Leichtigkeit strahlt auch dieser blau-graue Aquaton aus. Scampolo gehört eindeutig zu Anna von Mangoldts Lieblingsfarben.

This is another view of the family room with the Mitchell Gold red mohair velvet couch that pulls out for overnight guests. The side chair is also by Mitchell Gold and the rug is by West Elm. This was an exciting project where the entire design scheme revolved around the view. Located on the 60th floor of the tallest residential tower in Toronto, the view was unbelievable and is kept as the focal point. A natural palette of cooler woods, blues and neutrals play to literally being up in the clouds. Wall decor and colour was kept to a minimum to not steal the show from this breath-taking view. A blue feature wall in the Foyer, Den and Dining areas are inspired by the sky and incorporating plants throughout – that will thrive in all the sun this condo gets – brings this design down to earth.
