in this open floor plan, a half level above the main great room is a true tv room complete with a half moon window from which to see the ocean beyond. walls are painted a lime green and the sectional upholstered in a sky blue. floor is covered in seagrass and furniture is remiscent of the mid century age. rosewood and white lacquer media console bookended by the iconic floor lamp. swivel chair is upholstered in lime green velvet while the cube ottomans are done in a true ageatic blue velvet.

I know I shouldn't do this because we're not done and the drapes haven't even arrived, but I'm spitting into the wind with these dramatic before and after's. Here we've changed the wall paint from a "dull", pale gray to bright Ivory. "Gray's" not for everyone and from the moment Deanna painted it, she told me she immediately regretted it, but didn't have a solution. We then added built in's under the windows that flank the FP. With some help from, "Hippos" we moved the TV over the FP and changed out the carpet, replaced the dreary and tired upholstery with two new and much larger, Beige sofas with cheerful pillows in Deannas favorite color combinations and well, of course those fabulous Roman Shades! We will be adding the drapes (as soon as they arrive) a new coffee table and end/occasional tables. Even so, it's a huge improvement and now such a cheerful space. Stay tuned for more to come and we've barely touched on the Kitchens transformation

This client loves the beach. They have a place in the Bahamas and are always looking to bring a bit of that home with them. We used coastal shades and created a space that achieved their goals without feeling too overdone. The back of the cabinet was had done by one of our amazing artists. I think I want to move in here!

Apel – Tapestry: Apel in Tapestry has a random striation-like appearance that creates visual intrigue. It’s a natural neutral, made of 100% New Zealand wool. The light neutral coupled with the Ceylon Orange accents in this room really brighten the open floor plan.
