This is a custom floating, Walnut vanity. The blue tile back splash, and hanging lights complement the Walnut drawers, and give this bathroom a very modern look.

A farmhouse style was achieved in this new construction home by keeping the details clean and simple. Shaker style cabinets and square stair parts moldings set the backdrop for incorporating our clients’ love of Asian antiques. We had fun re-purposing the different pieces she already had: two were made into bathroom vanities; and the turquoise console became the star of the house, welcoming visitors as they walk through the front door.

Full-scale interior design, architectural consultation, kitchen design, bath design, furnishings selection and project management for a home located in the historic district of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The floating vanity was custom crafted of walnut, and supports a cast concrete sink and chrome faucet. Behind it, the ship lap wall is painted in black and features a round led lit mirror. The bluestone floor adds another layer of texture and a beautiful blue gray tone to the room.
