After living with a builder-grade version for several years, it was time to have exactly the master bathroom they longed for. Other than the two existing closets, the bathroom was gutted to begin anew. Our client loves the Arts & Crafts style, so the bathroom echoes the aesthetic, from the sliding barn door to the His & Hers vanities and floor-to-ceiling cabinet (with room for a smartTV!). Pendent and chandelier lighting replicates Tiffany’s mission style lighting from the 1920s. And flooring and wall tiles are in the deep, rich earth tones favored by the Arts & Crafts movement. The centerpiece of this handsome bathroom is the freestanding copper tub. Though the walk-in shower with a gorgeous, glass tile niche is mighty impressive, as well. There's so many things we like about this bath, beginning with the Royale faucet in Polished Nickle and the white built-in cabinetry with large mirrors and detailed molding above the vanity. Then there's the tub enclosure, window view and gold pendant lighting. Last but not least, the blue painted ceiling!

Our clients in Evergreen Country Club in Elkhorn, Wis. were ready for an upgraded bathroom when they reached out to us. They loved the large shower but wanted a more modern look with tile and a few upgrades that reminded them of their travels in Europe, like a towel warmer. This bathroom was originally designed for wheelchair accessibility and the current homeowner kept some of those features like a 36″ wide opening to the shower and shower floor that is level with the bathroom flooring. We also installed grab bars in the shower and near the toilet to assist them as they age comfortably in their home. Our clients couldn’t be more thrilled with this project and their new master bathroom retreat.

A beautiful big Victorian Style Bathroom with herringbone pattern tiling on the floor, free standing bath tub and a wet room that connects to the master bedroom through a small dressing

This decades-old bathroom had a perplexing layout. A corner bidet had never worked, a toilet stood out almost in the center of the space, and stairs were the only way to negotiate an enormous tub. Inspite of the vast size of the bathroom it had little countertop work area and no storage space. In a nutshell: For all the square footage, the bathroom wasn’t indulgent or efficient. In addition, the homeowners wanted the bathroom to feel spa-like and restful. Our design team collaborated with the homeowners to create a streamlined, elegant space with loads of natural light, luxe touches and practical storage. In went a double vanity with plenty of elbow room, plus under lighted cabinets in a warm, rich brown to hide and organize all the extras. In addition a free-standing tub underneath a window nook, with a glassed-in, roomy shower just steps away. This bathroom is all about the details and the countertop and the fireplace are no exception. The former is leathered quartzite with a less reflective finish that has just enough texture and a hint of sheen to keep it from feeling too glam. Topped by a 12-inch backsplash, with faucets mounted directly on the wall, for a little more unexpected visual punch. Finally a double-sided fireplace unites the master bathroom with the adjacent bedroom. On the bedroom side, the fireplace surround is a floor-to-ceiling marble slab and a lighted alcove creates continuity with the accent lighting throughout the bathroom.

Create a beautiful and functional master bathroom. The floors will flow with large scale grey tile throughout the bathroom and laundry room. The shower in the master bathroom will feature an onyx low profile base, tile walls and bench. The decorative marble linear accent tiles will be highlighted by a custom etched glass enclosure. Stellar Snow quartz countertops with rectangular bowls and beautiful brushed nickel fixtures will accented the current vanity. Clean framing on the current mirror will further update the space. New vanity lighting will fill the space with light. The large tub will get a new life with tiled surround and linear accent tile and brushed nickel faucet. Brushed nickel accessories finish the space.
