BFV Designs LLCA master bath retreat. Two walls were removed and windows installed to create this space. A 6'W x 7'D shower with a 14" rain shower head, 2 body sprays located at the bench and a hand held shower. A floating vanity with vessel sinks, quartz countertop and custom triple light fixture. A floating tub large enough to fit 2 comfortable with a view of the woods. A true retreat.

David Moulton AIAIn the master bath Sea Ranch Architect David Moulton AIA introduced a teak-plank box to wrap the bathing area. Existing ceramic tile counters, shower enclosure and tub surrounds were replaced with a series of tiles that provide texture and reflectivity, to draw in the natural landscape: Artistic Tile's Ambra Lake Blue sculptural wave-tile floats on the vanity wall; Porcelenosa’s Brunei-Blanco provides a subtle shimmer of soft white texture to the shower and a sliced pebble shower floor echoes both the natural landscape and the organic materials within the space. A new WetStyle freestanding tub, with a floor-mounted filler column by Kallista, perches beautifully inside its custom teak surround. The existing vanity was wrapped in Altair Silestone and topped with Watermark lavatory faucets presiding over Duravit white porcelain sinks.

Modern Edge DesignThis busy household with 3 teens required a bathroom suitable for their growing teens, with a fun modern feel including a tub and separate shower. We converted a hall closet into a new 3x3 shower, removed an existing long vanity to add much needed linen storage and a floating vanity with drawer storage. Warm grays and soft off-white tones add contrast and a subtle pop of color is provided by the blue Quartz countertop and decorative retro mod tile. Both shower and tub areas have the Kohler shower columns with rain head and hand shower features. This bathroom had no exterior windows so a new Solatube was added which provides excellent bright, natural light to the space.
Stebnitz Builders, Inc.Our clients in Evergreen Country Club in Elkhorn, Wis. were ready for an upgraded bathroom when they reached out to us. They loved the large shower but wanted a more modern look with tile and a few upgrades that reminded them of their travels in Europe, like a towel warmer. This bathroom was originally designed for wheelchair accessibility and the current homeowner kept some of those features like a 36″ wide opening to the shower and shower floor that is level with the bathroom flooring. We also installed grab bars in the shower and near the toilet to assist them as they age comfortably in their home. Our clients couldn’t be more thrilled with this project and their new master bathroom retreat.

Design Solution GroupThe custom made vessels and the accent tiles were the inspiration for this bathroom. These pieces were custom made by the artist, Samuel L. Hoffman, a potter, based on our specifications, color and inspiration. The detail on the front of the vessels represents the perfect wave to be out in the ocean surfing! My client wanted an ocean/sea feel for his master bathroom and blue was his color of choice. The crystals in the accent tiles, makes the perfect representation of the deep sea with a beautiful perfect dark blue to match the outside of the vessels. The rest of the materials were carefully chosen to help bring the sea feel to it - the rocks, the wood planks and the "sea salt" wall tile. Each accent tile was specifically placed to balance the bathroom. The sink wall was carefully tailored - we remove some of the white liners and inserted glass blue liners strategically to bring the blue to the wall without taking over the vessels. The shower has a trench drain without a curb to allow for a clean smooth shower floor. Bathroom has all the contemporary amenities my client was looking for!

Lee Kartis Home DesignBuilt in 1998, the 2,800 sq ft house was lacking the charm and amenities that the location justified. The idea was to give it a "Hawaiiana" plantation feel.
Exterior renovations include staining the tile roof and exposing the rafters by removing the stucco soffits and adding brackets.
Smooth stucco combined with wood siding, expanded rear Lanais, a sweeping spiral staircase, detailed columns, balustrade, all new doors, windows and shutters help achieve the desired effect.
On the pool level, reclaiming crawl space added 317 sq ft. for an additional bedroom suite, and a new pool bathroom was added.
On the main level vaulted ceilings opened up the great room, kitchen, and master suite. Two small bedrooms were combined into a fourth suite and an office was added. Traditional built-in cabinetry and moldings complete the look.
