I asked Waterside Landscaping to help with making some changes to my new garden. I found Ian to be very helpful, he listened to me, and came up with a plan. The work was done quickly and neatly, with little disruption. I am very happy with the result, which is just what I wanted. I would definitely recommend Ian and his team.

Ian and his team were amazing from start to finish. We wanted a specific design which proved complicated due to some aspects of our garden but they worked with us to still enable our design to be built. We had decking around our cabin with a sunken Firepit. Ian's team were friendly and really hard working and professional. The end result was superb. We would recommend them to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again should we require any other landscaping projects.

Contacted Waterside Landscaping to get a quote for an extensive patio area to the front, side and rear of our property. Ian came out and measured, offered a few ideas of his own and explained in detail how his team would undertake the project, what materials would be used and a timetable of the works. He then submitted a formal quotation detailing everything that had been discussed. Upon acceptance his team arrived on the agreed date and undertook the work exactly as quoted. The overall job was finished on time, to the agreed budget and everywhere was left tidy and clean. I will be using Waterside again and I would recommend them highly.

Ian designed and created two areas within my garden for storage. He was always consumately professional and so were all of his employees. Their work was well executed and of superb quality. They always tidied up after themselves. Thoroughly recommended.

This company provided design consultancy for my cottage garden. The design ideas for my cottage border were beautifully laid out in graphic form and explained in a meeting. Three imaginative ideas were presented, all of which offered site specific solutions, and each of which I could have run with! I opted for the simplest solution with lavender border and central feature and this has now been carried out. I can't rate this design and landscaping company highly enough- the service offered was friendly, courteous and professional

We started our back yard and side yard remodel just over a year ago, during the wettest winter we have had in two decades! Design concept We already had a design, but it really needed modifying to account with our contemporary design, lighting challenges, and landscape watering. Clear out I mentioned it was wet right? The clear out of concrete, large trees with big roots, and setting up for the landscape design took some time, but the guys turned up every day, come rain or torrent. Even when the fence eventually gave up, Ian personally came in on a Saturday to shore up. Ground prep This also needed to be done carefully, and expertly, so the travertine, and decking was all to be correct, and to spec. This included getting a fence back up! Travertine laying We had specific design features with lines, and pebbles, plus laying the ground for water, and low voltage LED lighting. A lot of math, but Ian spent the time to really work with us, to meet our needs. Water features We chose them, and the team installed them so they automatically refill, and look great at night with the LED lighting. Pergola No back yard is complete without a pergola, and Ian selected a modern fiberglass design that allowed him to put the lighting wires inside the beams. Firepit, dining and casual seating area. This was fun! Ian had to bring the gas line right round the house, and install under the travertine. The best feature was a custom design floating grill, on a cantilever bar, with lights, and gas piped in. Ian also created separate lighting zones, to allow for eating, hanging out, and having fun. New entrance to backyard In the previous design, friends got to the backyard either though the house, or by the garbage, neither worked, so Ian installed a new walkway with lighting and steel walls (now rusted in a great way), and a whole new landscaped area on the side of the house. Having finished with all that, let’s talk about the team. They turned up every day they should have, and the project (even with the odd tech challenge) delivered to my expectations, and then some!! Where has this left me? Wanting more, and ready for phase II.

Cracking job on our driveway & patio. Almost seven years later, none of the usual subsidence for a block paved drive, despite heavy use. Very tidy worker & conscientiously tidying each evening to ensure no danger to neighbours passing by overnight.

We engaged Waterside Landscaping to renovate the entryway, a patio area and the front yard following major construction. We were very pleased with the process and results. Mary-Beth Harasz provided the landscape design and it was implemented by Waterside. Ian McCulloch worked with Mary-Beth to provide options for fit and finish for the hardscape, keeping us involved as appropriate. Ian and his employees also provided well designed drainage prior to the installation of the stone. We have enjoyed the natural stone entryway and side patio area from day one. The work exceeded expectations and was done on time and budget. We would not hesitate to use Waterside in the future or recommend them to others.
