Repose Interiors

Lisa Montague of Repose Interiors assisted me with decorating some new space in our home. Services included paint color selection, furniture selection, area rugs and other décor (wall hangings, sconces, lighting, etc). Lisa also assisted us with paint color and rug selection in other areas of our home. Lisa Montague is an extremely talented decorator and understands her client's needs. At the beginning of the project, Lisa spent time with us going over the details of what we needed and coming up with a budget that we were comfortable with. She was quick to focus on the important aspects of the project and the specific needs of the rooms where we needed her help. Our octagonal sunroom was transformed into our "happy place" where my husband and I spend most of our time. The circular design of the furniture and the area rug create a cozy space that is inviting to all. Lisa listened to our request to be able to see the outside from this room and every chair you sit in provides a different view of nature. Everyone that walks into this room falls in love with it. When we spoke to Lisa about our new family room we told her it would be a place for friends and family to gather. The furniture she helped us select is amazingly comfortable and we find ourselves spending more time in that room than we originally thought. Her design was "spot-on" and gives us the space to host parties and provide seating for sports and movie viewing. Our small screened porch has been transformed into a cozy space where we can eat meals and curl up and read a book. Very inviting and a space we use frequently in the warmer months. The entry space was a challenge to decorate. Lisa found a great cabinet/console to anchor the room that provides drawers to hide keys, winter clothing and anything else that we might need to store. The area rug she selected for that space is fun and colorful. The room is welcoming to all that enter. Lisa is very thoughtful about wall colors and how the color will play with the lighting in the room. Her suggestions has been well-received. She has always been very communicative and is easy to reach. We will continue to work with Lisa on some of the other smaller projects in our home. She is terrific and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend her to others.

Lisa Montague has worked with us on a number of interior renovation projects and has provided innovative yet classical solutions in a period arts and crafts house. I consider her designs to be the best I have seen in the area.

Lisa Montague has an exceptional eye for color. She can see the greens, pinks and yellows in a brown paint chip. She has chosen many paint colors for our home. She also chose the furnishings for our sunroom. It is tastefully done, but not overdone. Lisa chooses wisely with your budget in mind. She even ordered a new finial for my lamp a year after the project was done after the finial had fallen on the floor and broken. Lisa is willing to work with your budget even it is not a large budget. The bills arrived promptly and were detailed in scope. It was a pleasure working with Lisa and we love our sunroom!

Lisa helped us with a major kitchen and family room renovation. She really understood the style we were looking for and was instrumental in bringing the right suppliers and materials together. We enjoy the wonderful space every day. It is cozy when it's just our family and spacious when we entertain.

Lisa Montague at Repose Interiors is wonderful to work with, has a good eye for color, texture, shape and detail. She has saved me $$$ and time by finding the right materials at my price level that make the room sing. Lisa helped me with a kitchen renovation, and is now helping me with a master bath and basement office. Her ideas are creative, practical and she makes the whole process of a redesign a pleasure.

What a delight it has been working with Repose Interiors over the past couple of years. We have completely refurnished two rooms in the house with one-of-a kind pieces. The consultant is thoughtful and really listened to what I wanted. She had great ideas and was so knowledgable about the furnishings. I was pretty set on what I wanted for certain pieces in each of the rooms, and she found the perfect items. I can't wait to transform the next room.

We hired Lisa Montague from Repose for two projects - one large scale interior and one exterior/portico - and were very pleased with her work. She is a terrific listener and invested the time to understand what WE wanted to achieve, as well as our budget and timetable. She was attentive to every detail, provided timely and useful budget advice and updates, and was always on the lookout for accents and alternatives to make nice rooms exceptional spaces.
