Raul Candales

Born In Barcelona 1968, Raul fell in love with photography at a very early age, thanks to the liking of his father who gave him his first camera when he was still a kid. After many years as an amateur, working in others sectors, specializes in interior design and architecture photography and becomes professional in 2000 starting to work for the Spanish magazine Casa Viva (nº1 Spanish interior design & architecture) and for some famous Spanish architects (such as ADD Bailo Balaguer, Archikubik, Sola Morales & Cadaval). Since then, his work is increasingly being appreciated and start working abroad: first in Portugal, collaborating with well known architects such as JA Lopes da Costa in Porto, B-arch in Firenze, Italy, Ina & Matt in Holland, KHR Arch. and Holscher Arch. in Denmark, famous artists as Bernar Venet, Sarah Lavoine and Julien Lombrail in France, and reputated interior designers as Emily Chalmers, Abigail Ahern and Jimmie Martin in the UK. Nowadays, his works are being published all over the world: Magazines such as Habitania (Spain), El Pais Semanal (Spain), Casa Viva (Spain), Home (Italy), Ragazza (Italy), Marie Claire (France), Journal de la Maison (France), VT Wonen (Netherlands), Bo Bedre (Norway), Elle Decor (Spain, Italy, France, UK, Poland), Taschen (Germany), 20 Private (Germany), Inside Out (Australia),... Raul works with industry professionals, especially with the renowned stylist Susana Ocaña as a team mate travelling the world looking for the nicest locations.
