could have a wine fridge built into the island somewhere
if we built in storage in the living space (under the seating against a wall, then this could incorporate outdoor shoe storage)
not like this, but do we want to think about wine storage/cellar options?
as we come up the steps from the patio, do we want to build in further seating or planters (and put storage underneath them - for things like outdoor cushions/sail and maybe basic tools etc)
if we put floor to ceiling bookcases in the snug, would we want a library ladder? - could this be quite cool as a feature? - how would this work if we wanted to expose the stone?
interesting idea for the breakfast bar
this is the type of seating/storage I imagine along the drive wall in the living space
again, value of a full floor to ceiling larder cupboard?!
imagining the front garden (to road) as much more of a country garden and then to do something contrasting outside the office - again the idea of new and old
interesting layout for the ovens - with the drawers underneath - could be a really good use of space
tap/shower like this in the side of the bath could be good - but maybe at the end
interesting looking work surface
is there any value in a pantry style cupboard?
like the niche here and wonder whether some sort of controls like these, but on the end of the bath might work? - would move the bath out from the wall slightly just to give a bit more space!
wider than this - but something like this as a dining table top
is this too dark?!
statement art!
how much colour do we want?
old fashioned drinks trolley? cool kitsch?
clever use of a work surface!
secret door
pocket door colours!!!
cupboards under the bench seating - could be good for our art bits etc
inside/outside flooring
wine rack in stair case
flooring!
we should have one of these mounted on a wall!
love the rope lights!!
only saved because i like the fact that they've got a random chair/pouffe in the corner - it looks like a room you would live in
like this table/bench - not sure if we should go for a bench - also interesting the way that it uses the built in bench - could use this when in one position and have seats for when its out at the other angle.
I think a strong blue wall or part wall in the kitchen will give us the colour that we need
is this floor too 'rustic'?
could we have something like this up to the front door, so we could grow screening up it to create a relatively private entrance?
like quite a lot about this layout - hob definitely in the right place, as is sink. Like the idea that the breakfast bar goes round the corner - and that it's in a different material and doesn't compromise cupboard space because it comes out from the work surface. Oven positioning wouldn't work because of utility room. Like the extractor!!!
again structure like this could be used for shade (vines or similar grown up them and then the ability to attach a sail or equivalent as and when needed)?!
could we build a private area in the top garden by building it into the walling?
inside/outside flooring - would love it if the threshold could be this simple and flush
the 'headboard' here is a bit too dramatic - but wondering if we build a headboard such that the ensuite/wardrobe pocket doors can slide into it? - almost make the whole of that central wall between the two into a headboard?!
could we build a wooden structure (using this as an idea) that we could hook a sail or similar to to create shade if we needed it? - could potentially grow things up the uprights?!
if you look at the low level 'seat/shelf' here, this is what i was wondering about along one wall in living space - it can be used as a shelf/display space, but if we're having a party etc, it can be extra seating etc
was wondering about some seating like this in the 'living space' - maybe where the kitchen window is? - so that it's sort of a window seat? - or could make it into a really cool window space somehow?!
apart from the toilet, this is just about perfect!!!
like the idea of side by side ovens
could we have planters that go up with the steps in the back garden
think about where we do have restricted height, how best to use it
