Wall Washing - Lighting that is further away from the wall to give a nice flush of color to the entire wall
Sconce - A lighting fixture that is attached to a wall
Drop Light - A Lighting source that is hung from the ceiling and drops down around 6 to 7 feet
Recessed light - The ceiling is specifically a baffled recessed light where the bulb is hidden into the ceiling for a more minimal look
Cove Light - Lighting that is built a few feet into the ceiling so that it is indirect yet general
Up Light - Lighting that starts from the ground going up
Perimeter Light - General lighting that is placed around the perimeter of the space. Not highlighting anything particular in the space.
Wall Grazing Light - Lighting that is super close to the wall for the purpose of showing the wall's texture yet also lighting up the whole area
Ambient Light - Lighting that can light up the whole space while trying to hide its light source
Accent Light - Lighting that is directly highlighting specific objects
Task Light - Lighting that reflects on the surfaces below only to see the task
Natural Light - Lighting that comes directly from the sun to either warm up the space or cool down the space
