Obviously, the baronial hall look isn’t our cup of tea, but the height of the truss looks good.
Q
Is this the scissor truss look that you are recommending? It looks better, but the side walls are taller.
Ed doesn’t thinks that the horizontal truss must be lower at the intersection with the wall?
Again… what about the buttress feature near the wall? Will that allow the horizontal beam to be located closer to the ridge pole?
What about the buttress feature near the wall?
I gather that Ed doesn’t think that this look will work.
I like that the horizontal features are up near the ridge pole. The design is attractive. We anticipate having a white plasterboard ceiling.
Wood and stone SF - I like the wood and stone too
Stone and wood together
More traditional. Perhaps too traditional.
Little more formal. An option. Unit flush with floor. Don’t think that we want the stonework to go to the ceiling. Too massive.
Maybe stone work to the rafter?
Like natural wood and stone. Will probably have wood floors
Like step and stone facing
Like a fireplace which is flush to the floor, rather than having a step
A nice compromise. Wood and stone. Simple.
