McLean Estate
I love the architecture in Old Town Alexandria
Conservatory but instead use huge floor to ceiling steel glass windows.
I was talking in another photo about how I want the house to look like it's had additions and I want to use wood shingle siding and this is a perfect example that goes along perfectly with the federal style.
I really like the lines of this home.
I like the look of this but again, higher ceilings on the second level.
I like how this is kind of federal style but also kind of beach or chic style or something like that. I just like the aesthetic.
Obsessed with the copper roof.
I'm really liking this but again, the upstairs ceiling height seems too low. Something is out of proportion to me it just feels like.
I like the idea of having doors to enter rooms immediately inside the front door, but would also need a second door to facilitate the flow of traffic while entertaining.
I like how lux this room feels.
I like the wood shingle siding. One of the thoughts I've had is that I want the house to appear to be historic and like additions have been added over the last century of two. Perhaps one of the additions can use wood shingle siding like this.
I really like this, except have higher ceilings - they look like they're really low.
I really like this.
Can this be bumped up to two stories to be the front exterior of the home? How would copper roofing look along with ivy?
Digging the dark!
This would be really cool for the gallery.
I'm kind of digging this, but how would it look with stone and ivy?
A fan of dark rooms wherever they make sense.
I kinda dig this, maybe with some twists.
I really dig dark rooms wherever they make sense.
I like how luxurious this room is.
Love the arches and the paneling
I like this exterior if it can be expanded wider. I like the ample windows. Use limestone facade.
I love this vibe for a gallery.
This would make a great salon.
Love the arches and the paneling.
I like the layout and the proportions of this room. In love with the giant windows.
It's very cozy.
I kind of like this vibe for a family nook. Not a big room. Like maybe a reading room or something.
I am just so in love with everything. Books everywhere!
I like the whole vibe and kind of love the bookcases.
This would maybe be cool in an office if the ceiling is high enough.
I like the random shelving aspect.
I like the vibe.
I like the commercial feel of this kitchen
I like the masculinity of this kitchen
I like the masculinity in this kitchen.
I love this bathroom.
