Jill's Ideas
I hadn’t considered glass shelving within a fixed frame. A possible idea, maybe in oak?
Amazingly David also likes the seating & storage in the Hallway. Doesn’t address the hanging dilemma though.
Both David and I really like the simplicity and clean lines of this, Lighting could be used.
Have you used this Claire?
Looking at images of staircases I’ve come across this which has made me think about our Mezzanine space. Could we have a conversation about this when we next meet?
Inserts to leading opening edge of cupboards most unusual. Would it work in our location? Not sure
An example of the look of the kitchen space & how the living & dining areas could be.
Unusual drawers look like they are floating. With lighting under it could look amazing.
Could this work on the Entrance Hall coming from the Doggy En-Suite? it could look a little untidy there as not in a prime position. Could a version be used fitted under the bottom of the staircase? Cookery books in Kitchen - to be used/considered when planning the Kitchen in small areas.
I like the idea, I think it’s brave, best place for it or a version of it to go. In the Study, Snug, Lounge, something to store some cookery books in the Kitchen?
This layout is not suitable for me
In principle I like this to display, the height is a question as I like to sit up in bed to read. Splash of colour on stud wall good. Storage on other side great. Beside bed drawers attached to stud wall but which allow space to be able to swing legs off the bed when getting up.
I really like the overall look, the sleek look, I would want the sink and hob ideally with a view, but the different lighting really sets it off.
The colour looks good with sunlight and shadow used in a seating area.
I like this
Interesting layout, just too fussy
Hope the space allows for a larger kitchen as I would not be able to access the kitchen. It would be like a corridor to me.
I do like this space
I like this, having a small casual eating table.
Not sure why this has caught my attention, red light fitting, yellow shelving or the arrangement of the Island
Long seat, very interesting & which I hadn’t considered. If sufficient room it could be a good idea as it looks very easy to access. Must check it wouldn’t hold water & easily cleaned.
I like the look of the size of the space and the lightness and openness of the area.
David likes the ‘angular’ look of this project
This is the ‘before’ photo, which to me looks ‘very normal, ordinary’ and boring.
Whilst I know that this does not reflect how our Barn looks, I like the look of the different elevations, heights, amount of glass.
This has caught my attention as being quite different but I’ve no idea where it could go & the cost may be prohibitive.
I’m not sure of the look, but I like the principle, how it could be built to fit within a space.
I like the overall look of this, probably to large for me
I like the look of the rail, I don’t like the painted doors though.
I really like the gentle flowing shape created
I like the principle of this as a Statement Piece but I don’t know the size of the space if it would work.
I like the sound of this
Looks great. John Ditchfield bespoke piece???
Gosh, this looks fabulous if I’ve got the height. Maybe the current Dining Hall
Very different but I like it.
Something very different
Like this, just not the cost!
Would this work better as a framework.
This would do the job
Really nice look, but probably not practical, but its the principle.
I like this so long as I can access everywhere.
Here I go again, the look from outside is fabulous.
Probably far too posh, I know, and not knowing what the entrance may look like.
Really like this door!
