Make a Fresh Start
Whether you’ve plans for a whole new kitchen, or you’re updating your existing one, ensure the design ticks your wish list box and is the very best it can be.
Giving your kitchen a new look and feel can be utterly revitalising and will entice you to spend more time in the space, creating new dishes, baking delicious treats or simply just enjoying your pleasant surrounds.
A recent Houzz kitchen survey revealed that a new kitchen can actually encourage owners to cook more at home and eat fresher produce. So, set your sights on a refreshing and inviting kitchen that you’ll want to bring family and friends together in and look forward to a happy, healthy lifestyle.
Go for a crisp, neutral palette to keep it clean and unfussy. A bright and light kitchen-diner with contemporary fixtures, clean lines and plenty of storage will be easy to maintain and keep clutter at bay (one of life’s major stresses), so you can look forward to a calm, positive and invigorating start to each day.

Strawberry Mint Flavoured Water Recipe
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Rinse and clean a handful of strawberries, then slice
very thinly. Peel ginger and again, slice thinly. Add rinsed mint and all other ingredients to your jug or carafe. Fill with 0.75 litres of filtered still or sparkling mineral water straight from the tap to your taste and leave to infuse for 30 minutes. Cheers!
Did you know? A filter water tap benefits the environment, too. By eliminating the need to stock up on bottled mineral water at the supermarket, you are helping to fight the battle against plastic. Did you know, to produce just one litre of bottled water takes a huge seven litres of water, plus the energy required and the CO2 emissions? Installing a filter water tap system in your kitchen instead of buying bottled water means a 61 per cent reduction in CO2 and no plastic bottles.

A Practical Layout Helps
The layout of your kitchen can greatly influence your eating habits. With a well-stocked and simple-to-navigate space, you’ll find it easier to eat healthy snacks and enjoy cooking nutritious meals. What’s more, it doesn’t take a major overhaul of your cooking space to create big changes – simply set up ‘zones’ to help promote healthy living.
For example, a smoothie station with a blender and easy-to-grab ingredients in jars, such as flaked coconut and cacao nibs, will be perfect for the morning, while bowls of fresh fruit and chopped veg will encourage you and the kids to snack on healthier options rather than diving for the biscuits and crisps. It’s often the case that we snack when we’re bored or thirsty, so keeping healthy options and fresh, filtered water within easy reach is going to make all the difference.
Convenience helps you make better choices. Reorganise your kitchen so you have your glasses, mugs, teabags, herbs and sliced fruit close to the filtered water tap, ready to serve up healthy fruit teas or flavoured water recipes to guests.
