I would like to add more natural lighting to our Northeast facing livi

The room is dark ....I was hoping to lighten it up by installing a solar tube outside on a porch roof. The house is two story. Installing the tube from the second floor roof is not an option. Do you think I will get a noticeable amount of light by doing this?

Thanks for the question, without being able to actually see the room layout it is very difficult to give a 100% accurate answer. If you live within the Grand Strand my recommendation would be to give us a call and we can give you a free consultation. This will allow us to give you the most accurate answer. If that is not possible, the next best option would be to take a series of photos of the space and send them over. I can give you the best answer though by seeing it in person.

We have installed solar tube on the porch before and it lights up the porch great but doesn't do much for the interior of the house even though its next to a window. Its really not worth it
