This is an outdoor room with an open air pergola covering the outdoor seating and kitchen area. We partnered with the architect of the home on this project and their intent was to keep this space as an open extension of the home with the overhead pergola providing shade while leaving the space open to the elements. The table at the center of the seating area also is a fire pit, which provides a heat source when the temperature drops in the spring and fall.
