Rain gutters

We have built a a house with a two story window wall in the North Cascade area of eastern Washington at the 2400 ft level. We have been advised that gutters are impossible with the snore load that the area can get during the winter. With this homes 7000 ft elevation, how do you manage to keep these gutters from being torn off the house when the snow slides from the roof?
Thanks for any info - love the exterior and your use of rock.

Snow guards and snow clips hold the snow back / break it up. We also add snow melt in the gutters to keep the ice from building up. From this photo to can see the gutter supports are very close together as well.

GutterGlove gutter guards are heated and will melt the snow and direct the melted water into your gutters - wallah!
