Hi Dustin! Unfortunately we're not really sure what the surfboard is made out of. The client had selected the surfboard, and worked closely with the electrician to fabricate it into a light fixture.

It is probably a Naish wood longboard from Hawaii. You might be able to contact them for a blemished product since you don't need the top side.
