For this ceiling, we used clear Cedar, and the boards were 5.5-inches wide. For this project we were looking for the right balance of wood and non-wood materials. We wanted to reflect sunlight by using a light stone tile floor (filled Travertine), but also create enough warmth in the space by using wood. We thought wood would be a nice choice for the curved ceiling idea.
