How did you get the concrete mix that color? Did you add oxide to the mix as well as the stone? It has a golden rather than grey color. I am hoping to do with an exposed brick fireplace. I was concerned the exposed aggregate and the. bricks may clash. but this looks lovely. Congratulations

Hi Belinda, thank you for your lovely comments and yes it complements the restored heritage bricks around the fireplace well.. The colour was achieved with a specified sand colour oxide mix, this was added to the concrete prior to the pour. Good luck with your renovation. Archisoul Architects :)
