Hi Mell, I believe this counter is standard 24", the perspective is shifted in the image, which makes it appear narrow. The sink is by KOHLER & is the Vault 25" x 22" x 9-5/16" under-mount.

Trying to figure out how narrow is too narrow for a return counter next to side by side machines. I am trying to change the direction of the laundry machines in the room to create more working space in front of the machines. I have 65" width space. After side by side machines with appropriate spacing, I'm left with 7-8" for a return counter. Once the counter clears the open door of the machine it can be deeper to accommodate a sink, but would that look silly to have any bit of counter that narrow?
