Has anyone added farmhouse style legs to kitchen island?

We are completing our kitchen design for our timber frame home. I am wanting to make my island stand out more. Would like it to look more like a piece of furniture. My cabinets will be white shaker, My island will be navy. I was thinking of adding criss cross or farmhouse style legs to the ends of the island. Has anyone done this and have pics you could share?

This is not your farmhouse style, but the principles for this mid-century modern kitchen apply. The island bench reads like a piece of furniture due to the way that the base cabinetwork is elevated off the floor. This was custom-built by Sawdust Timber Furniture for one of our clients.
