Thank you for your question. This is a local Maine granite that we've heard called three different names: Heritage Valley, Mystic Mountain, and Norumbega.

It's beautiful. Does it stain? We're interested in soapstone. But we're a little worried about how they will look with down the road. Wish I knew someone who had them.
