drop in tub height

What is a proper height for a drop in tub? We are having one installed and not sure if it should be a certain distance from the floor. thanks

There is no exact height. You need to look at the specs on your tub and make sure you allow for that and then build around that. A comfortable height for any seat is between 16" and 18".
