Magnum6 - thank you for your interest in this photo! Actually the kids LOVE this space and use it for basketball and a variety of other sports-related activities. For this particular project we were working within the space available in the existing basement, and the homeowner simply wanted to maximize the height the best we could. Perhaps this sport court would be more to your liking...

Beautiful play space! Could you please let me know what type of flooring you used in this space?

Thank you for your interest in this project. According to our records, the flooring is a rubber base of 11mm (just under ½”) with a Pulastic top surface. The rubber base comes in 4’ widths and is installed quickly. Then the Pulastic top surface is poured on in layers, resulting in a completely seamless floor. Add markings and a net and you're all set!
