For me it's white over dark but to be honest, I love a light color wood

I would say white cabinets if you're going with a dark wood floor.

I'd prefer white, but with white trim. But since you have dark trim, I voted for the dark cabinets.

I would go with a mix of both, white cabinets and dark island
