I absolutely love this bar, but my ceilings are only 90 inches. Do you think this would feel too claustrophobic with a lower ceiling?

It would be tight. This soffit is probably 12"-15" tall. To get a feel for it you can mock it up using cardboard and duct tape.....the secrets of the profession!
