It is a white marble. to be honest marble isn't necessarily the best stone to use as worktops as it's often quite porous. You would need to visit a stone distribution specialist to choose the slabs for your kitchen.

Also look at Silestone and other quartz brands as they now have several colours that are difficult to tell aren't real marble.
