I've collaborated with Tara on multiple projects from NYC to Upstate NY. In this industry its all about collaboration and personality. We have put together "the team" for multiple successful projects. I enjoy working with Tara because this is a very complicated and ever evolving industry so its imperative that all trades involved are up to the task of constant problem solving. Tara Benet was able to take a dark and old living room and transform it into a light and bright all-purpose gathering room - exactly what I wanted. Between designing the new fireplace and adding a beautiful bar to the room, to picking out beautiful furniture, to adding in-ceiling lighting and a fantastic lighting fixture, she does everything with grace, humor, and STYLE! :) We couldn't be more pleased with the Living Room, Family Room, and Kitchen she reimagined for us. Five Stars!!

Tara is not only an absolute delight to work with, she is incredibly talented. I have worked with other designers for both private residences and commercial spaces before, so I have experience by way of comparison. What distinguishes Tara is that she approaches your project with exclusivity. Many designers have a formula they like or have used in other projects and simply duplicate that , thereby not creating uniques spaces for each client. When I have accompanied Tara too many showrooms I also can see how vendors treat her and she treats them. Clearly she has well established relationships and there appears to be a high level of respect. Tara and her team are very professional in that they deliver when they say they will and always find solutions when issues arise, no matter if they are small or large. Tara and her team do have the ability to make what can often be a very stressful time, seem so easy, even enjoyable!! She has my highest recommendation!

Tara did an absolutely fabulous job with our office! We had a huge amount of space to cover and we wanted it to feel elevated and chic--not a typical office request. Overall we needed help with 3 conference rooms, design room, YouTube filming room, mother's room, prayer room, lobby, and employee break area. Many things needed to be custom made and she did a great job finding the right vendors and coordinating installs. We had a very set budget and appreciated how diligent she was in sticking to it. As the main coordinator for my team I appreciated that Tara and her staff were quick to respond to calls and emails. I found them to be professional, highly creative, and they created an amazing space that we love.

We did a gut job combing two apartments. Tara has made this stressful experience (especially in the time of Covid) seamless, with great ideas, style and finesse. She hasn’t skipped a beat and kept the project on task despite delays out of our control. Her advice was on point and she really took the time to understand my husband and my tone. She was also able to bridge our different styles, into something so perfect for us. In addition to her great taste, she’s been a pleasure to work with and someone I genuinely consider a friend....she really is amazing all around!

When I moved into my UWS apartment, I enlisted Tara Benet for the design. The apartment, a spacious pre-war family apartment, features high ceilings, French moldings and wide-planked Parisian-styled oak flooring. I sought to retain and highlight the intrinsic Parisian vibe of the apartment. Armed with this initial inspiration, Tara created a modern, comfortable space that honors the unit’s bones. Sophisticated yet accessible, hip yet timeless, I couldn’t be happier with the result! She and her team were terrific (and, Tara, you are not yet rid of me!) and made the whole process fun and enjoyable.
